Kokuma was keen to teach his son the subtleties of the Tetsubo and started his training young.

The young warrior practiced diligently when he could find the time between chores and was soon strong enough to wield the mighty weapon with ease and deft in its usage.

His skill with the bow came from hunting in the forests of Ikusyun island.
