Episode 5. Travel to Hyuga.
The second half of the series starts with a meeting with Lord Chozo. He says, "Some weeks ago I sent my armies to Hyuga to destroy the threat there and unite all the southern islands. Yesterday a small fleet returned with news that they have established a hold over the northeast coastal towns. I want you to go back with the fleet and reinforcements to help out on special missions, for which your special skills are more appropriate than those of my armies and their commanders." The five troubleshooters embark on a boat in Imabari and travel westward through the island-strewn Setonaikai (Inland Sea) towards Hyuga. The sea is moderate, but Emiko and Komako suffer from seasickness. Emiko tries to placate the kami of the sea and in the afternoon it gets much calmer. However, Komako still hasn't got his sea legs.
